As of August 4, stricter measures against the Covid-19 pandemic are being introduced in Sofia.

It is required to wear protective masks in closed public places - medical facilities, pharmacies, social institutions, commercial establishments, public transport, train stations, airports, etc.

Hospital visits are limited. If possible, employers should create the possibility of remote work.

Anti-epidemic measures are not valid for persons engaged in sports activity indoors, for staff and customers of eating establishments and for children below the age of 6.

The temporary anti-epidemic measures on the territory of the Sofia-city region are for a period of 15 days, starting from August 4, 2022.
