Former energy minister: Not a single molecule of American gas has reached Bulgaria

Taxpayers and the state were damaged by the former government of Kiril Petkov with 200 million euros because of the intermediary companies through which Russian gas is bought. This was stated by the former Minister of Energy from the GERB government Delyan Dobrev in Varna. 

"All the gas we have bought, excluding the Azeri gas, is Russian, only with intermediaries and with a 30% price increase," he said and showed invoices proving the transactions.
According to him, even if the two tankers with liquefied gas, which were announced by Kiril Petkov's government, had arrived from the USA, they were sold in Turkey. "Not a single molecule of American gas has reached Bulgaria," Dobrev told Daniela Stoynova from BNR Varna.
