“Former Prime Minister Kiril Petkov and former Deputy Prime Minister Assen Vassilev were given a huge opportunity, as young people with a claim to a serious education, fresh ideas and a new way of looking at things. There is just one thing the president can be blamed for – that he gave them that opportunity. Very quickly they turned against the president," Vice President Iliana Iotova said for public service TV BNT. “The time in office of the latest coalition has left a bitter taste. The recrimination among the parties left an impression of a battle between one sum of money and another. This will stop people from voting,” Iliana Iotova said and added that the election campaign is expected to be “steeped” in gas but the caretaker government should do what it can so there will be no one without heating and no company bankruptcies.
