A large-scale advertising campaign of Bulgaria is starting in neighbouring countries to extend the season and attract more guests in September, said the Caretaker Minister of Tourism Ilin Dimitrov. At a meeting in the Golden Sands resort with the industry, he said that the campaign will also be aimed at the domestic market, so that Bulgarians will come to the Black Sea.

In addition to neighbouring Balkan countries, the country's advertising will be strengthened in Poland as well, Dimitrov added. A journalistic tour from Germany is expected at the beginning of September, which will also contribute to the promotion of Bulgaria.
In the height of the season, there is a 40% increase in tourists compared to 2021, but they remain 25% less than the record year 2019.
