The Ministry of Innovation and Growth has started a check over conflicts of interest and connections with prominent politicians after a report received in the department about the activities of one of the financial intermediaries of the Fund of Funds, Minister Alexander Pulev announced.

The task of the fund is to distribute public funds from European programs and national co-financing. "This is our absolute priority - the main measures are aimed at preventing conflict of interests and creating policies without political interference", the minister added. According to him, the Fund of Funds should work entirely on a market basis. Alexander Pulev refused to give further details until the investigation is complete.
