The situation in Karlovo returns to normal after the recent floods

No new facilities have been flooded in the town of Karlovo and there is no risk of river flooding - said Deputy Mayor Anton Minev. 7 teams of firefighters and rescuers worked during the night to cope with the aftermath of the calamity caused by torrential rain on Monday afternoon. 

Debris have damaged the streets and the first floor of the Vocational High School for Railway Transport in Karlovo. 8 water drainage pumps are in constant mode of operation. The haemodialysis ward of the local hospital has been drained. There are no people in distress, deputy mayor Minev has assured.

The partial state of emergency continues.
