Foreign Minister Nikolay Milkov met with UK Ambassador to Bulgaria Rob Dixon today to discuss a range of issues, the Foreign Ministry reported. 

Minister Milkov and H.E. Rob Dixon noted the two countries' active political dialogue. They reaffirmed their mutual interest in strengthening bilateral cooperation by signing an agreement to specify the priority areas.

The Ambassador welcomed Sofia's decision to set up a Bulgarian Consulate in Edinburgh, which was necessary because of the growing number of Bulgarian citizens in Scotland.

The sides also exchanged views on the Western Balkans, Ukraine, energy security, etc.
