Eight or nine parties would enter the National Assembly if elections were held today, indicate data of a nationally representative survey conducted by the sociological agency Mediana.
GERB/SDS would earn 22.8% of the vote. 17.1% would vote for “We Continue the Change”. BSP for Bulgaria would get 13.3% of the vote, followed by Vazrazhdane party-12.5%, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms-11.5% and “There is Such a People” party-6.9%. “Democratic Bulgaria” would earn 5.5%, “Bulgaria Rise” would also get 5.5%. “Rise Up Bulgaria” remains under the 4% barrier with 3.4% support.
Nearly 70% of the respondents said that their financial situation had worsened over the past year. 40% of the respondents think they will have to save on heating and food in the coming months. 20% of the polled said they would easily cope with rising costs.
The survey was conducted between August 30 and September 4, 2022, among 1,008 adult citizens through face-to-face interviews and was financed by the sociological agency Mediana.
