Bulgaria’s Minister of Defense Dimitar Stoyanov and the country’s Chief of Defense Admiral Emil Eftimov will participate in the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting at Ramstein Air Base in Germany. The Pentagon will announce on Thursday another USD 675 million in weapons transfers to Ukraine, including more rounds for artillery rocket launchers that the Ukrainian military has used to precisely target Russian forces, the Washington Post reported. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin is expected to announce the new supplies for Kyiv at the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting at Ramstein Air Base.

Russia has requested that the United Nations Security Council convene to discuss "peace-threatening" Western arms supplies for Ukraine, Moscow's UN Ambassador Vasily Nebenzya” said, quoted by TASS agency. Nebenzya called the report of the CNN that Russia is in the process of purchasing millions of rockets and artillery shells from North Korea "fake news".
