The US to provide funding to Bulgaria for military purposes

Bulgaria is one of the countries threatened by possible Russian aggression to which the United States will provide financial aid for military purposes. During his visit to Kyiv, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced an additional 2 billion dollars for Ukraine and 18 other countries - among them Romania, Greece and North Macedonia. 

The funding will be in the form of both grants and loans, as the goal is to help aided countries strengthen their capabilities to counter Russian influence.
