Ivo Papazov - Ibryama with another worldwide recognition for his talent

The world-renowned Bulgarian clarinetist Ivo Papazov – Ibryama has added another award to his collection. His undeniable talent was recognized with the grand prize at the international festival of world and electronic music WOMEX 2022.

It has been awarded since 1999 for outstanding achievements in music worldwide, musical excellence, social relevance, impact and overall significance, with the Bulgarian being distinguished for his inimitable style and ability to move people's souls with the extraordinary mixture of Balkan and Roma rhythms, with elements of jazz and rock music.

On October 23, Ibryama, together with his orchestra, will perform a concert in the Municipal Theatre of Lisbon, whose building has been one of the symbols of the city for 125 years.

At the opening of this year's edition of the Apollonia Arts Festival in Sozopol, the virtuoso musician received the Apollo Toxophoros Grand Prize and celebrated his 70th anniversary with a concert on stage in the resort town.
