Foreign high voltage equipment company expands capacity in Bulgaria

President Rumen Radev will today visit the town of Sevlievo, Central Bulgaria, where Hitachi Energy Bulgaria will open its new plant. The Head of State will attend the opening ceremony, the Presidency press service said.

Hitachi Energy, an international technology company, is expanding its production capacity for advanced high-voltage equipment. The company has been operating in Bulgaria for over 40 years and currently employs more than 800 people in this country. The expansion will provide 180 new jobs.
