There will be no separate mobile ballot boxes for the people infected with Covid-19, or their contacts for the upcoming election because there is no extraordinary epidemic situation in place in the country, the Central Electoral Commission has decided.
The people infected and their contacts, who have been quarantined as of 2 October (the date of the election) will be able to cast their votes in the town or village where they are quarantined using a mobile ballot box for persons with disabilities. The people infected with Covid-19 and their contacts will be able to cast their votes after all people with disabilities have cast theirs. Whether there will be mobile ballot boxes is up to the local authorities and depends on the applications submitted. If there are no mobile ballot boxes in the respective town or village the persons who are infected with Covid-19 and quarantined will not be able to vote.
