Until 19 February, 2023, the Institute for the Study of the Ancient World in New York is hosting the exhibition First Kings of Europe. The exhibition opened on 21 September under the motto The Ancient Balkans and Beyond. The artifacts on show are from 11 countries, and include some of the most valuable items from Bulgaria’s National Museum of History and two regional museums. This country’s participation, with a total of 32 exhibits, is taking place with the financial support of the America for Bulgaria Foundation.
After New York the major international project will be shown at the Field Museum in Chicago and the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, Quebec.
