Bulgaria and Egypt are discussing energy cooperation

Bilateral cooperation between Bulgaria and Egypt in energy and economy was discussed by Bulgarian President Rumen Radev with his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in a telephone conversation. 

Egypt is among the exporters of liquefied gas and electricity, and President Sisi expressed interest in deepening cooperation with Bulgaria in the field of renewable energy sources, the production of electric cars and batteries for them, the presidency reports. 

During the conversation, it was agreed that an expert delegation from Bulgaria would visit Egypt to discuss specific projects in these areas.
