Weather forecast for Bulgaria for Monday, October 3

Cloudy weather and lower temperatures expected on Monday

Clear skies are in the forecast for Bulgaria for Sunday night. Clouds will form in Northern Bulgaria after midnight. There will be light to moderate westerly and northwesterly winds. Minimum temperatures will range between 8°C and 13°C, for Sofia- around 8°C.

On October 3 there will be variable cloudiness, more often significant. Showers are expected in the southwestern parts of the country, more significant in Rila and the Rhodope mountains. There will be moderate northwesterly wind. Strong westerly winds are expected in the Danubian Plain, which will usher in cooler air. Daytime highs will reach 17°C-22°C, for Sofia- 16°C-17°C.

Over the mountains there will be significant clouds. Showers are also expected. It will snow at an altitude of 2,000 meters and above. There will be moderate to strong northwesterly winds. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will reach 11°C, at 2,000 meters- around 4°C.
