Bulgaria reports 1 Covid-related death in past day

288 is the number of new Covid-19 cases out of 1,651 tests performed in the country in the past day, 397 down on the previous day, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 64.2% of the new infections are among the unvaccinated, the positivity rate stands at 17.4%, compared to 14.6% on Saturday.

The number of active cases in Bulgaria is up by 188 in the past day, and is now 10,640. The number of new hospital admissions in the past 24 hours is 8. The number of patients being treated in hospital is down by 1 to 616, of them 49 are in intensive care.

One patient with established coronavirus, who was not vaccinated, has died in the past day. 37,746 people have died of the virus in the country since the start of the pandemic, the total number of infections is 1,264,615.

99 is the number of recoveries registered.

171 doses of vaccine have been administered in the past day.
