Ukraine cannot be intimidated by missile strikes, President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his evening televised address after the massive air attacks against the entire country. The strikes killed 19 people and injured over 105. On the night of Tuesday, Russia once again attacked Zaporizhzhia region and a thermal power plant in Vinnytsia region using Iranian kamikaze drones.

In a telephone conversation with Zelensky, US President Biden condemned the Russian missile strikes and promised to continue providing Ukraine with the support it needs for its defense, including with advanced air defense systems.

Biden, along with the rest of the G7 leaders, will hold a video conference meeting on October 11 to reaffirm "the unwavering commitment to support Ukraine," the White House announced. Ukrainian President Zelensky will also participate in the meeting. After the forum, an extraordinary meeting of the Ramstein group of countries providing military aid to Ukraine will be convened.

The spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, accused the United States of obstructing the peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine as according to her the US aimed at the strategic defeat of Russia, while Moscow was ready for negotiations, but wanted fulfillment of its conditions for Ukraine, Reuters reported.
