On 14 October, a new mountain biking trail is officially opening on Vitosha mountain, at the foot of which is the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia. The Vitoshko Lale route is located in the immediate vicinity of the ski run of the same name. It follows an old forgotten forest path, whose adopter was the Raiders United sports club.
The trail is of a high level of difficulty and is designed for advanced cyclists. The first downhills of the opening will be made by the world and European downhill champion Izabela Yankova and the long-time downhill champion of Bulgaria Stivian Gatev.
