Nearly 15% of Covid-19 cases in Bulgaria turn positive

There were 783 new Covid-19 cases in Bulgaria in the past day. 14.9% of the tests came back positive, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. The highest number of new cases was in Sofia - 287, Plovdiv - 59 and Varna - 48.

The number of hospitalised patients was 676, 43 of them in intensive care units. New admissions to hospitals were 84. Nine patients died. The number of people treated in the last 24 hours is 695. 

Immunizations in the last 24 hours were 1509. There are 2 072 629 people who have completed their vaccination cycle, of which 904 778 with booster doses and 32 210 with additional adapted vaccine.
