Russia has warned it will stop gas exports to Europe if the Old Continent tries to impose a ceiling on the price of oil. The executive director of Gazprom, Alexey Miller, justified the threat with the current contracts in which the price of gas is tied to that of oil. His statement on Russian state television comes as EU countries debate whether to impose a price cap on natural gas as a measure against rising electricity prices.
