Talks on forming a new government to begin on October 20

The GERB/SDS contact group of former President Rossen Plevneliev and former Minister of Foreign Affairs Solomon Passy will begin talks with the political forces represented at the new Parliament on Thursday, or one day after the inaugural sitting of the 48th National Assembly. Talks will not be held with Vazrazhdane party.

The first discussion is on October 20, with representatives of the biggest parliamentary group-GERB/SDS. After the talks, Rossen Plevneliev and Solomon Passy are to report on agreed priorities for the work of the new Parliament.
