Weather forecast for Bulgaria for Saturday, October 22

Daytime temperatures expected to rise slightly

Clear skies are in the forecast for Bulgaria for Friday night. There will be fog and cloud inversion in some areas in the valleys and the Upper Thracian Plain. Minimum temperatures will range between 1°C and 6°C, for Sofia- around 3°C.

It will be mostly sunny on Saturday, October 22, with temporary increase in cloudiness, more significant in Northern Bulgaria. Light to moderate southerly and southwesterly winds will usher in warmer air. Daytime highs will fluctuate between 19°C and 24°C, for Sofia- around 21°C.

Over the mountains it will be mostly sunny, with scattered high clouds, more significant over the Balkan Mountain Range. There will be light westerly and southwesterly winds. Moderate northwesterly wind is expected on higher ground. Temperatures will rise. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will reach 18°C, at 2,000 meters- around 12°C.
