Bulgaria's caretaker Prime Minister Galab Donev met today with the leaders of the nationally representative trade union and employer organizations. The main topics of the discussions were the funds under the European programmes and the Recovery and Resilience Plan as well as the state budget for 2023.
The participants in the meeting expressed concerns about populist decisions in this area, for which there is a risk due to the uncertain political situation in the country.

At an extraordinary session of the Parliament on October 25, the caretaker Minister of Finance Rositsa Velkova will announce three versions of the draft budget for the year. The increase in income, according to her, goes through the assumption of new debt and deficit. Velkova will be heard by the deputies at the request of GERB and BSP.
