A neonatal respirator worth 18,410 euros was received by the Department of Neonatology at the regional hospital in the Danubian city of Silistra. The equipment was purchased with small donations collected by Bulgarian children for the campaign "Children Helping Children". The charitable initiative was launched in 2008 and thanks to it, equipment for the children's wards of 18 hospitals in 16 Bulgarian cities, worth over a quarter of a million euros, has been purchased so far.
