The Ministry of Tourism is working towards creating a digital map that will show the beauties of Bulgaria, caretaker Minister of Tourism Ilin Dimitrov told the BNT. The idea was put forward by the Bulgarian National Radio's Director General Milen Mitev.
When tourists enter Bulgaria, they will receive an SMS containing a link that provides information on all tourist services offered in Bulgaria. The link will offer access to a map of Bulgaria with all tourist routes and attractions, possibilities for online purchase of tickets, beautiful films prepared by Bulgarian tour guides, farmers' markets, wine routes, good accommodation and food. The information will be translated in several languages. Ilin Dimitrov also pointed out that the Ministry of Tourism is actively working with the BNR’s Radio Bulgaria on video and audio podcasts in 11 languages to show the beauties of Bulgaria. "Bulgaria is a beautiful country and we must show its beauties", Minister Dimitrov noted.
