Impasse for Ukrainian refugees continues

Photo: BGNES

The day began without breakfast for the guests in some hotels in Sunny Beach, where Ukrainian refugees are accommodated. The reason is that the program for their accommodation in the resort has ended and by November 15 they must be moved to government bases. It is unclear who will pay for the rooms until people move. Some hotels ask Ukrainians to leave although it is not clear where the accommodation bases provided by the state are.

A new refugee protest is scheduled today in Sunny Beach. Protesters gather in the center of the resort with their luggage to show the authorities that their lives are packed into a suitcase. People call not to be resettled because there was no way to integrate. Many of the children already go to school in Nessebar and their parents have found jobs.
