Direct investments from France in Bulgaria amount to 1.028 billion euros. There are 200 French companies operating in Bulgaria which have created over 15,000 jobs.

This became clear at a meeting in the format of "breakfast with investors", which the Minister of Economy Nikola Stoyanov held with representatives of French businesses in the country.

In 2021, trade between the two countries increased by more than 17% compared to 2020 and amounted to 2.2 billion euros. Exports from Bulgaria to France include products of the engineering, food and pharmaceutical industry, sunflower oil, mineral fertilizers, corn, essential oils, etc.

The meeting is organized with the support of the Embassy of France in Bulgaria and the French-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
