Bulgaria to seek nuclear fuel other than Russian

Bulgaria will announce a selection procedure for a nuclear fuel supplier in the coming weeks. Currently, two companies have expressed their desire to participate - the American "Westinghouse" and the French "Framatome”.


This is what Energy Minister Rossen Hristov said during his visit to Kozloduy NPP. "As you know, Russian supplies are in question because of Russia's unwillingness to cooperate. Therefore, we are focusing exclusively on European and American fuel sources and we expect to have contracts signed soon," Hristov stressed
