Unit 6 of Kozloduy NPP put back into operation

The sixth unit of the Kozloduy NPP has been reconnected to the country's energy system, the nuclear power plant reported.

During tests after scheduled maintenance work, the reactor was stopped on October 29 as a technical problem was found in the cooling system of the generator in the non-nuclear part of the unit. After eliminating the reasons that led to the shutdown, the teams of the nuclear power plant carried out the necessary tests according to the requirements for safe operation. The checks carried out confirm that all systems are working normally, experts announced
