The caretaker government cannot have its own policy on incomes, including their increase, and is obliged to follow the established policy, said Caretaker Prime Minister Galab Donev from the parliamentary rostrum in response to a question from BSP leader Kornelia Ninova regarding the increase in incomes.

Ninova, for her part, addressed the voters with the words: "Let's assume that we don't form a government. Due to the fact that the caretaker cabinet does not propose an increase in salaries and income, we may leave the Bulgarian people cold and hungry until June."

Galab Donev recalled that the cabinet proposes to the deputies to accept the so-called an extension law on the budget and for it to operate while a regular government votes its budget.

Donev also added the government has allocated an additional 20 million BGN (10.2 million euros) for 40,000 socially weak people and families outside the reach of those assisted for heating in winter.
