Bulgaria will use the Norwegian experience to provide help to its citizens abroad, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. Its team working on the project "Complete construction and equipment of the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria" is on a working visit to Oslo for exchange of experience.

Work has started on the creation of a mobile application aimed at Bulgarians abroad. The application will provide real-time information on risks when traveling abroad and will help to quickly connect with the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. There is also a function for sending a signal for help and possible evacuation of Bulgarian citizens affected by disasters abroad.

The project is financed by the Fund for Bilateral Relations within the framework of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism.
