Armed robbery of cash transport vehicle took place in Bulgaria’s capital Sofia

An armed robbery of cash transport vehicle took place in Bulgaria’s capital Sofia. No people were reported injured. The amount of money stolen from the vehicle is not known yet. 

The robbery took place around 8 am on Tuesday morning near a shopping mall on the Sofia Ring Road. According to unconfirmed information, the crime was perpetrated by four men, masked and armed. They escaped in car with Ukrainian license plates. Police are searching for the perpetrators of the robbery. 

Later, two burnt cars were found in Krastova Vada residential district in Sofia, which are connected to the robbery. According to the BNR, both vehicles have fake Ukrainian license plates.
