Months after being stranded in Mariupol port, the Tsarevna finally docks in Varna

The bulk carrier Tsarevna, which has been blocked since the start of hostilities between Russia and Ukraine in the port of Mariupol, is now in Bulgarian waters. According to the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry, the voyage has taken eight days, during which time the shipowner and the Situation Centre Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have been in constant contact. The vessel was sailing with a crew of 15 under the Maltese flag and docked in the port of Varna today

Throughout the Tsarevna's stay in Mariupol, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been in regular contact with the shipowner and the competent authorities to facilitate the vessel's removal by sea.
