During a policy meeting in the National Assembly, organized at the initiative of GERB, the representatives of GERB and "Vazrazhdane" expressed a consensus on issues related to the energy sector. The two political forces criticized the commitments made by the cabinet of Kiril Petkov in the Recovery and Resilience Plan to reduce the work of coal powerplants by 2026. They also found points of common ground on topics such as "regulated market" and "compensations for domestic consumers and businesses" , as well as creation of a code for social support, in which all social payments would be regulated. Understanding was also reached regarding the election of new constitutional judges and members of the Supreme Judicial Council from the quota of the National Assembly.
