The BSP will not withdraw its bill for changes in the Electoral Code

"We will not accept a dialogue with an ultimatum," said "BSP for Bulgaria"'s chairwoman Kornelia Ninova in a statement from the parliamentary rostrum. In her words, half of the Bulgarian people want to vote with paper ballots, half - with machines and it is best to give them a choice.

"We Continue the Change" and "Democratic Bulgaria", however, maintain their position that they will return to the plenary only if the controversial amendments are withdrawn. The two formations are also demanding that a temporary commission on the Electoral Code be set up for one month. It also became clear that "We Continue the Change" and "Democratic Bulgaria" will not respond to GERB's invitation for a meeting of the chairmen of the parliamentary groups.
