IMF mission arrives in Bulgaria

Representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will visit Bulgaria. An IMF team led by the European Department's mission chief for Bulgaria, Jean-François Dauphin, will visit the Bulgarian capital between November 30 and December 6 to update the institution's forecasts for Bulgaria.

The team will hold meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the Bulgarian National Bank, other state institutions, the private sector and NGOs.

Discussions will focus on the spread of the war in Ukraine and appropriate fiscal and energy policies to preserve macroeconomic stability
