“We are ready, if we are handed the second mandate, to form a minority government,” the co-chair of We Continue the Change party and former PM Kiril Petkov stated in parliament.

At a joint press conference with the coalition Democratic Bulgaria, Kiril Petkov enumerated the aims of a cabinet formed by We Continue the Change: withdrawal of the amendments to the Electoral Code; amendments to the Constitution and the statute of the prosecutor general; a 3% deficit in the state budget; restricting the presidential powers over law enforcement structures, changes to the anti-mafia committee and adoption of the laws pertaining to the Recovery and Resilience Plan.

We Continue the Change’s other co-chairperson Assen Vassilev stated that they had not yet sought support from the other formations.
