Bulgaria reports 46 new Covid-19 cases, no Covid-related deaths in past day

46 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 825 tests performed. Over 5% of the tests returned positive result, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 59% of the new Covid-19 cases are among the unvaccinated.

The highest number of new cases of coronavirus infection was registered in Sofia-15, Pernik-5, Sofia District-4, Vara-4, Burgas-4 and Veliko Tarnovo-4.

6 people have been hospitalized in the past day. 67% of them are not inoculated against the virus. 460 patients with an established coronavirus infection are being treated in hospital, as 56 are in intensive care units. 

No Covid-related deaths have been registered in the past 24 hours. 6 people have been reported cured. There are 5,444 active cases of Covid-19.

7 vaccine doses were administered on Sunday. 2,074,115 is the number of people with a completed vaccination cycle.
