Bulgaria reports 163 new Covid-19 cases, 6 deaths in past day

163 is the number of new Covid-19 cases out of 3,496 tests performed in the country in the past day, 125 down from the previous day. The positivity rate stands at 4.66%, versus 5.2% on Tuesday, more than 61% of the new infections are among the unvaccinated, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show.

The number of active cases in the country is down by 392 to 4,704. The number of new hospital admissions in the past day is 38, of them 23 or over 60% are not vaccinated. The number of patients being treated in hospital is down by 26 to 389, of them 44 in intensive care.

Six is the number of Covid-related deaths registered in the past 24 hours, 5 were not vaccinated. 649 is the number of recoveries reported on Tuesday. 

537 doses of vaccine have been administered in the past day.
