Bulgargas proposes new gas price increase for January

"Bulgargaz has submitted to the State Agency for Energy and Water Regulation (EWRC) a proposal to increase the price of natural gas for January 2023 to 104.57 EUR/MWh, excluding taxes and fees. The company explains that this price is more than 25% lower than the prices of gas hubs in Europe for delivery in January 2023.

The price of natural gas for December 2022 approved by the EWRC is EUR 74.69/MWh.
