343 new coronavirus cases and five deaths registered in Bulgaria

A total of 343 new coronavirus cases were registered in Bulgaria on Monday after 5,456 tests, according to data of the portal coronavirus.bg. 8% of the samples tested positive. 61% of the newly infected are non-vaccinated citizens.

Most of the new cases are in Sofia - 102, followed by Plovdiv and Ruse - 24 each. There are a total of 372 patients in hospital as 37 of them are in intensive care. 66 patients were hospitalized yesterday. Five coronavirus patients died and 345 recovered. The number of active cases is 4,503. Yesterday, 330 vaccines doses were administered. There are 2,074,498 people with completed immunization in Bulgaria.
