In the presence of Vice President Iliana Iotova, an exhibition with the archaeological discoveries of the researchers from the Archaeology Department of the museum was opened at the National History Museum.

In her address, the Vice President stressed that this exhibition nurtures the self-confidence of Bulgarians as heirs of ancient civilizations. In Yotova's words, when a person does not know history and does not know where he started from, he cannot know the present and cannot build the future of Bulgaria.

The Vice President pointed out that archaeology needs more attention and resources because one cannot successfully fight against the rewriting of history if one does not know it and cannot prove it with facts.
