Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev is planning to hand the second government-forming mandate right after the holidays. "I will hand the second mandate soon, we are not going to waste time, but not before New Year’s Day", Bulgaria’s head of state said after participating in a ritual of lighting the candles at the Sofia Synagogue on the occassion of the Hanukkah Festival.

I do not see any desire for a successful fulfillment of the second cabinet-forming mandate, Vice President Iliana Iotova said for bTV. "I wonder why the respected Academician Nikolai Denkov agreed to be the face of the second mandate. On the basis of his recent statements I can see that there is little enthusiasm and ambition. This is what I read in his messages", Iliana Yotova said.
