"We Continue the Change" expect to be mandated by President Rumen Radev to form a government, as he announced, after the New Year.

The party's official nominee for prime minister, Acad. Nikolai Denkov said at a briefing that he had sent invitations to parliamentary groups. Denkov had asked the parties to submit by Thursday evening proposals they considered important to be placed on Parliament's agenda for 2023.

On Friday all the proposals would be discussed at a joint meeting to set priorities for the future government. On the basis of these proposals, We Continue the Change will prepare a programme statement. Should it not be supported, the party will return the mandate unfulfilled.

However, if a government is put to the vote, it will be made up of experts, who are supported by the political parties backing the cabinet to ensure political accountability, Denkov said. The We Continue the Change party outlined its priority bills, including the Electoral Code and the Anti-Corruption Act.
