The famine in Ukraine is one of the worst mass crimes committed by the Soviet communist regime, the decision of the Bulgarian MPs in the committee reads. Over 8 million people lost their lives during the Holodomor, among them many children and tens of thousands of Ukrainian and Moldavian Bulgarians.
