On the morning of December 25, an air alert was declared in all regions of Ukraine, reports UNIAN. Volodymyr Zelensky has already warned Ukrainians about possible mass attacks from the Russian side in the days around the Christmas and New Year holidays. According to the agency, on the eve of Christmas, on December 24, Russian forces attacked the center of Kherson. More than 60 people were injured and some died.

Three Ukrainian emergency services workers were killed yesterday in a mine explosion while demining parts of the Kherson region, Reuters reported. The US State Department estimated in early December that about 160,000 square kilometers of Ukrainian land needed to be screened for explosive hazards.

TASS reports that 169 people, including 21 children, have died since the start of the war in Luhansk Oblast as a result of attacks by Ukrainian forces.

A protest against the war in Ukraine was held in the center of Belgrade last night. At the rally organized by the Russian Democratic Society in Serbia on the occasion of 10 months since the beginning of the war, citizens carried placards with the inscriptions: "Putin, hands off Ukraine" and "Please, Stop the war", reports BTA, referring to the Beta agency. According to official data, there are about 5,000 Ukrainian refugees in Serbia, about 800 of whom are children.
