"Bulgarian Christmas" helps children with rare genetic diseases

Artists, musicians, athletes and media supported the 20th edition of the "Bulgarian Christmas" charity initiative under the auspices of President Rumen Radev. This year the campaign is dedicated to children with rare genetic diseases.

More than 1,390,700 euros were collected after the end of the charity performance, which took place on December 25 in the “Ivan Vazov” National Theater. The BNR Symphony Orchestra and the Children's Choir of the national radio also performed on the stage as the BNR broadcast the concert live.

The President and his wife, representatives of the caretaker government, politicians and public figures were present in the hall.

The charitable initiative continues until November 2023. The ways in which a donation can be made can be found in the website of the initiative: www.bgkoleda.bg
