Bulgaria reports 5 Covid-related deaths in past day

230 is the number of new Covid-19 infections registered in the country out of 5,553 tests performed in the past 24 hours, a positivity rate of 4.1%, Single Coronavirus Information portal data show. More than 58.7% of the new Covid-19 cases are among the unvaccinated. The number of active cases of coronavirus infection increased with 162 to 4,092.

369 patients with an established coronavirus infection are being treated in hospital, as 39 are in intensive care units. 43 people have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 34 of them (79.07%) were not vaccinated.

5 Covid-19 patients have died in the past day. 63 people have been reported cured. 289 vaccine doses were administered on Monday.
