Bulgaria may potentially join the Schengen on October 1, caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikolay Milkov said during an open hearing in parliament.
Since the beginning of 2023, Sweden has taken over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, but the expansion of Schengen is not at the top of Stockholm’s list.
